Meet the Ranger Road | Scuba Team
Joshua Hotaling started diving in 2012 as part of therapy while stationed at Balboa Hospital. Joshua is now Ranger Road's lead instructor and enjoys teaching other veterans how to dive and hopefully get the same enjoyment out of it. Josh's favorite type of diving is cave diving and diving rebreathers. As veterans progress in their dive training, Joshua hopes to teach those who have the desire to progress into more technical and challenging scuba courses.
Kirt has been a scuba, CPR/ First Aid instructor since 2012. Serving as one of Ranger Roads scuba instructors, he gets to enjoy two of his biggest passions; serving vets and scuba diving. Being part of this program, Kirt can bring the two together and share his passion with other vets. Qualified to teach many specialty dive types such as altitude, wreck, and nitrox, to name just a few. With over 2000 dives, Kirt feels very much at home and at peace in any body of water he dives in. Always looking for new places to dive and new adventures to partake in, he welcomes all vets to join him in this incredible venture of the underwater world.
Here at RR we want to ensure everyone has the ability to participate in any capacity they choose. To ensure we provide any and all support or accessibility needed we ask that you provide us with a list of and disabilities, limitations and adaptive needs
